OHV4TN

Dedicated to creating a diverse statewide system of
*OHV trails in Tennessee
*(Off-Highway Vehicle = 4x4, Motorcycle and ATV's)

The mission of the OHV4TN organization is to advocate for a statewide system of OHV trails in Tennessee, communicate information regarding off-highway vehicle riding opportunities, laws and rules, funding mechanisms and grant funding for off-highway vehicle projects that include land acquisition, eco-friendly trail building, maintenance and operations, law enforcement and safety education.  Our goal is to create safe, fun and sustainable riding areas, which will provide outstanding recreational opportunities for current and future generations.

We did it!

40+ of our state OHV leaders convened on Saturday, May 31 to begin the creation of our new state OHV association.
Now, I am not saying we all sang kumbaya that day, because anytime you get a bunch of fellas (and gals) who come from different OHV backgrounds and schools of thought, you are going to get differences of opinion, but all in all, we did agree that something had to be done to preserve the OHV way of life for current and future generations.
The fact of the matter is...we are up against the wall and the time is now to do something about it or lose it forever.

Tennessee Off-Highway Vehicle Association (TOHVA)
was conceived on Saturday, May 31.  We will have a 6 month gestational period (reconvene in January) in which 4 committees have been formed to create the organization that is fair to everyone and will provide for a strong, central, sustainable organization that will work towards creating a statewide system of trails in Tennessee, as well as provide for educational and safety components for our OHV enthusiasts.

How can you support these efforts?  Sign the GuestBook and you will automatically be put on our update list.  There will be opportunities along the way for you to jump in and either become a leader or a supporter for the cause.
We are all in this together and everyone has an ability or unique skillset to contribute.
You would be amazed at what one person can do with just a little effort.
Can you imagine what can happen when many people focus on the same goal?
